GM G-Body Tubular Core Support

Our GM G-Body Tubular Core Support offers tig welded, raw steel components for lightweight racing core support and easier engine access.

We have them for Malibu, Buick that bolt in.

Buick, Olds, MC is a little more because it has different angle brackets that bolt to the fenders, and also it has the adjustable frame support brackets.

• Latch options are available for both
• 1″ .058 chromoly tube construction
• Tig welded
• Shipped raw steel (NOT PAINTED OR POWDER COATED)

We do not paint or coat them because customers are always welding to them. Mounting catch cans, trans coolers etc.

The Oldsmobile tabs for the front nose are not in the exact spots. It will require some tabs to be made. Same for the MC and MCSS, both front tabs are going to have to be made up and welded.

The hood latch options is not recommended for steel hoods

This is a light weight racing orientated core support. We recommend hood pins if using the latch on steel or glass hoods as an added safety. If we made the latch bracket for the steel hood, our core support would need to have a lot of extra weight added to it, defeating the purpose of “lightweight”.

If your wanting one for the MCSS the Buick one bolts in but has no tabs for the front air dam.

If you can weld and fab then this could be an option for you!
